Wireless Moot

MUAHAHA. :D

I use Apex Pro myself on both my Xoom and Bionic. I would concur that the speed is great, battery life is great. You should check out my FAQ and take a look at some of the crapware I disabled. That'll speed things up and save on battery, as well.

Already disabled most of it. I'm glad I don't have to freeze them in Titanium anymore. This really does feel like a brand new phone.

I have said on other sites that I was just going to wait until the OTA comes out and we have an FXZ, but that makes me almost want to try H.o.B and flash .246.

"huh? WTF??"

I'm quite amazed at the number of people who've jumped to 246 so far. I mean, truly. Moto needs to get this thing out the door already.

Yup. Welcome to the party. :) I barely remember what 905 felt like, TBH. I've been running ICS since June. ICS has made this a truly fun phone to own. I disabled the stock POS browser and replaced it with Chrome, as well. It's quite amazing.

Im still not completely sure about doing it. I thought about it. At this point Im leaning towards "Yes I want to do it". But about 2/5 of me says "I dont want to.." :P

DO IT. I'm telling you, if you use the HoB you will NOT regret it. My phone is incredibly fast. I'm telling you, the Bionic is exactly the phone I had hoped it would be when I bought it. This thing is smoking. So smooth. So silky. So choice.

DO IT. For real, yo.

Is there a fair amount of confidence that .246 is going to be the OTA. I have read all 247 pages and that seems to be the consensus. I also know that maybe that has been answered here definitively already, but I don't want to read all 247 pages again just to find the one post I missed.

Maybe they will skip the soak test when they notice how many of us are running it, and also notice the lack of complaints about it *LOL*

Nothing is guaranteed. It can always change until it's actually out OTA. But as of now, we believe with a fair degree of certainty that 246 is going to be OTA just as soon as the damn Atrix 2 gets the hell out of our way. If it's not, we have a method for moving us from one secure leak (246) to a newer one. We've been able to move forward from all 10 leaks so far. I'm not too terribly concerned. But there is still risk involved.

Well, if 2/5 of you DOESN'T want to do it, but 3/5 of you DOES - well, you know what they say - majority rules.

I doubt it. One would hope they'd skip the damn soak test anyway and just push it out. At this point, there's nothing so critically wrong that it couldn't wait a month for a patch.
