Wireless Moot

Nothing is guaranteed. It can always change until it's actually out OTA. But as of now, we believe with a fair degree of certainty that 246 is going to be OTA just as soon as the damn Atrix 2 gets the hell out of our way. If it's not, we have a method for moving us from one secure leak (246) to a newer one. We've been able to move forward from all 10 leaks so far. I'm not too terribly concerned. But there is still risk involved.
I'm not even sure there IS a chance that it won't end up going OTA at this point. I can't see anything short of Verizon getting an injunction against Moto re. releasing it stopping them. I doubt Motorola feels like submitting another build, and Verizon would have NOTHING to gain aside from more wrath from Motorola.

I doubt it. One would hope they'd skip the damn soak test anyway and just push it out. At this point, there's nothing so critically wrong that it couldn't wait a month for a patch.

Why would they skip the soak if they suddenly pushed it out for the Atrix 2 first without warning? Of course we're getting a ****ing soak no matter how long theyve been working on it. No common ****ing sense whatsoever, of course from these people.

Man all this really makes me wanna so some HoB...i've been thinking bout it for a long time too..

Forget this, where is it...where do I download this HoB?

Is there a fair amount of confidence that .246 is going to be the OTA. I have read all 247 pages and that seems to be the consensus. I also know that maybe that has been answered here definitively already, but I don't want to read all 247 pages again just to find the one post I missed.

At this point I don't even care if it's not the final OTA version. I love how this phone is responding so far. And as Samuri has said before, if there is a newer version for the OTA the HoB will handle it. No worries.

Yes, I get all that but until we SEE OTA, there's always a chance. I feel confident that it'll go OTA at this point, as well, but, until it does you can't guarantee it.

Im still one of the .905 user's..so i guess im the other part of the five.

On a side note a friend of mine had the S3 phone and traded it back in on a razor and said the razor is by far a better phone...they also gave him the option of a binoic, which i thought was all gone.

Dont say at this point. You really mean 3 months from now.

Because we're last priority and they have no common sense.

Don't forget, we're not talking about Verizon here. Motorola controls the soak tests, they are for Moto's benefit and not Verizons. If Moto decides we don't NEED a soak, they probably won't waste time.

They decided the Atrix 2 should go first for whatever ****ing reason. What does that tell you?
