True. I guess we all need to remember we're STILL dealing with Verizon here, and they have made very dumb choices in the past. They pulled crap with Apple back in the day and lost their shot at being the exclusive iPhone carrier for several years. So we always need to expect them to do something idiotic, even if it ends up costing them money. They don't care, they'll just come up with more ways to nickel and dime the customer.

That OTAs take time to plan, and the Atrix 2 probably already HAD a spot in line before us, simply because we got pushed back due to the .244 shenanigans.

Oh I can tell you it's quite a few. The HoB has taken on a life of its own. Plus the information Sarge has posted in this thread has been invaluable.

At this point I don't even care if it's not the final OTA version. I love how this phone is responding so far. And as Samuri has said before, if there is a newer version for the OTA the HoB will handle it. No worries.

I agree with you. I have been following directions and flashing my Android phones since my OG Droid. If I were not in my last semester of RN school, which I am about to go start studying for again in a minute, I would flash my Bionic now. I would hate to find myself with one of you as my patient and have to tell you, god I'm sorry I did not study that. But, I can flash your phone. I get a fall break in a couple of weeks and if we don't have the OTA by then I will flash my phone then. God studying suck.

I just came up with a great new thread idea, Sam. The HoB "Hall of Shame" thread. Everytime someone does something dumb, and you have to chastise them for it, you should quote it and paste it into the "Hall of Shame" thread. It'll end up being sort of a "what NOT to do" thread :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:
