You are now looking at a REAL Bionic. The Bionic on Gingerbread was a pathetic shadow of that the phone could have been, had it been able to launch with ICS.

Seconded! I've been running I've leaks now for nearly a month and have 0 regrets!

Motorola did such a decent job on ICS that I started with the very first leak, .2232, and even back then it worked very well. At THAT early point, for daily use it was much better than GB.

And lodmot if for some god forsaken reason a 248 pops up what the HoB does is its actually an fxz that fxzs the phone back to 905 but its a non boot able 905 an then when u side load the update the update successfully installs because the update sees the phone as a 905 system so u can install any update that requires a 905 system even if the security changes

Well, Im on the Bionic right now. It feels kinda warm. o3o

It will run a little warmer. Most likely, it's now running at 1.2GHz, and both cores are being used. BTW, don't forget to give the OS a couple of days to settle in before making any judgement on battery life, this is standard for any update, really.

The update process requires a large amount of computing power so the update process will heat up the phone

I thought that only certain Bionics would overclock to 1.2 but many others just stayed at 1.0... o3o

Enjoy it. From my experience it takes a bit for everything to settle down after the upgrade. Plus learning the new OS but once you're used to it you'll love it!

I also thought that there was no way to fxz back to 905

Some can do 1.2, others can't. There are some CPU info programs in play that will tell you.

I was pleased to see 1.2 out of my launch day bionic.
