I also thought that there was no way to fxz back to 905
There's no way to fxz back to a WORKING .905 OS. Samuri made us a special fxz file that the HoB is built around, that flashes ONLY the partitions that the update checks for (which absolutely need to be there). By luck, the security version is not asserted for these. It also flashes the boot.img from the OS that you are installing (in .246's case, that would be the .246 boot.img). This gives you a totally bricked phone as far as being able to boot the OS and use it, but it is just enough to allow the update to install properly. It also preserves your data through all of this, unlike a typical fxz which wipes the phone clean.

There is not. The encryption in the file system changed so there is no full back to GB.

To facilitate updates, HoB sets up your phone so the update essentially thinks 905 is on your phone. It works awesome - I went from 242 to 246 this way.

Benchmark results:
Total: 2465 CPU: 4583 Mem: 2477 I/O: 2852 2D: 235 3D: 2178

What's that mean? XP
Unfortunately, I think it means that yours is a 1.0GHz model. You can verify by going into the System Information part of Quadrant from the main menu. What does it say your max CPU speed is? (for the record, being stuck at 1.0GHz is not a bad thing, you're still on ICS which is much more efficient on a 1.0GHz dual core processor).

Hes running 1.2 or his cpu score would be mid 2000-3000

I used quick system info to see my max CPU speed.
