Actually, it's called kexec, and it's not risky - it's an acceptable thing in the Linux world. There is a CM10 kexec build available right now, i'm using the stock ICS kernel build though, as it is more functional.

Well I imagine a blur free environment must be nice looking? I'm just way happy with 246 for now.

So i'm guessing the answer is that there IS no changelog? Wish I knew what I just installed on my phone *LMAO* - oh well, no guts no glory!

I was looking for their github but its not the same as the bookmark I had. Got the ole 404 "that **** ain't here no mo" message.

Well, there actually IS no Blur anymore, that was done away with on GB - we're on Motorola Applications Platform now. I actually kind of miss it, I have no problem with Moto's current UI implementation. AOSP Jelly Bean is just "different".

So I'm running at 1.2 GHz on 246. I was contemplating OCing but that's fast enough I think. Everything is running smooth and fast. Also I don't see a reason to root since I'm afraid I may brick my phone by hacking around on it. (not a Dev or programmer) I'm just happy with my ICS thanks to Sam! Much props!

Chalk another win for HoB. I'm so done with 232 and 905. 246 is sweet. Thanks much fellas!

Question about the processor on this phone...does it scale based on usage? I installed Quadrant and went to system information. It shows current freq as 600 MHz, max Freq as 1200 Mhz, and min Frez as 300 Mhz.

I assume since the Max is 1200, I'm one of the lucky phones that got the bump to 1.2 GHz

Yes it scales also when OCing u must put it on performance governor cuz when oced over 1.2 ghz it doesnt scale right
