Wireless Moot

I would think that an update failing on LTE would spark some intrigue. It's the first time I've ever seen that happen. It passes all the assertions and fails in the middle of the update. That's just wrong.

HoB 7.7 is out with the aforementioned speed improvement. One of my linux testers is running into massive problems with the linux script so I have no idea what's up with that. May not get released today if I can't fix it. Works for one but not the other. FML.

Just to clarify (since I'm a lapdock/webtop user) -- my webtop should still work after upgrading .246 to .247 with HoB 7.7, even though you're not flashing it, since it's the same webtop version 3.0, right?

And in the event that it does break, I would just need to run the Reinstall version to fix it.

Just double-checking.

Hey Sarge, tell your bud at Moto that the $100 penalty is OK as long as it is charged per phone per day. After 10 days Moto should pocket 1/3 of the cash as an admin fee and use the balance, $666, to buy everybody who has that neglected phone the newest comparable model from Moto. With that dollar amount they could call it their solution to the Big Red Antichrist.

Oh JOYS. That's going to be a pain in the ass right now. He's currently got it in an AP Fastboot error. I'm having him fix that first. Flashing the radio is fun....cough cough. He's a 246 user so I'm gonna have to have him do it manually.

I didnt wait till the weekend to make the move to .247. I downloaded the 2 new files to my phone at work today, so when i got home all i had to do when i got home today was transfer them to the laptop and get to HoB 'ing

Got to enjoy "unlimited " DATA and being in a 4G area just outside of Philly at work

Had to post to this thread just to say I was part of the 8million posts. As you can see, I post a lot. Lol. Seriously, I am a frequent reader of this forum and the last few days have been entertaining to say the least.

I must be the only hold out though. I am on rooted .905 and only want to do the update once. I am waiting until 10/15/12 and if no ota by then, I will join the House.
You can hold off as long as you like, but if you start getting the urge to crush your Bionic in a vise, RUN- Don't WALK,to your nearest "House of Bionic" and get .247 on there, STAT! Literally everything bad ever said about the Bionic is nullified by ICS. Unless you are REALLY hung up on the desktop-style webtop of GB, ICS is a major improvement in every way.

Hmm, it seems to be hung on "Android is upgrading / Finishing boot." It already upgraded all my apps. Been stuck on this step for about 10 minutes now....? Haven't seen it do this before.

Man you guys do a lot of extra work when I've tried REALLY hard to make the HoB as simple as I possibly can. *I* use BSR. Do you think I like cleaning that up every time? LOL! I'm lazy! The HoB flashes system and preinstall images from 905. It'll overwrite things like forever root, bootstrap recovery, battery mod things, etc. And since I'm flashing those images, freezing apps isn't going to break it, either. So keep the BSR app installed, run the update, then root, then have the BSR app install BSR and you're done. Nice, eh? :)
It also plays nice with safestrap, since it flashes preinstall anyways. And I LOVE the idea of eliminating the webtop flash. Almost cuts the time it takes to HoB in half!
