Yup. ^^
I've also been practicing this week on that OG Droid I bought, so I've been able to familiarize myself with installing custom recovery menus and different ROM images. It's nice that you can actually flash a different ROM and it will not erase your SD card. Are the newer Android devices basically the same way?

LOL. They are nothing like the OG Droid. That was a unique phone. We get no custom recovery on bionic due to the locked bootloader. Hence why you need to be careful of what you're doing. Locked bootloaders are a pain in the ass. You don't need to flash webtop and you should NOT do that one. It will likely fail. I'm going to update my FAQ to remove it. Just system, preinstall, and boot.img from 247. Then reboot directly into recovery and install the 247 update. Done.

I do think we finally found a bionic on droidrazr that I can't fix. The FXZ succeeds but it still bootloops. It's the strangest issue I've ever seen. I don't even know what to tell them to try at this point. My guess is physical damage but I don't know.

Flash the system.img again

How to I go from 246 to 247? I have 7.7 and 247, but when I go to HOB it only shows options for 246, did I miss something as I have been busy and missed all of todays posts. Be gentle, I am still learning. Thanks

Mine does it too, if i wait a min then refresh it fixes it, i think it has something to with time stamps of post and/or server communication. it only seems to show on busy threads and refresh usually makes it go away

ICS Droid Bionic
FINALLY!! .247 courtesy of HoB

That makes sense. Happens to me if I.post and the thread is very active. Tapatalk adds your new post to the thread before refreshing the thread so it looks one way buts its not synced with the server.

Apparently having 247 isn't the same as running the installer for it.

Isn't that a good time. We can have him try it. Thanks.

Alright, I got the moto-fastboot drivers and the adb utility. There are some syntax errors in your Linux section, but I'll get around those.
I have to move all the img files from the wine folder into another folder that I can get to easily from the terminal. Saves a lot of cd-ing. xD
It seems pretty simple. It's just a matter of making sure I have everything where it's supposed to be. ^^

I've updated it so you may want to refresh.
