I only require very little...that people read the HoB OP and the HoB FAQ. If I have to deal with issues that are covered in either of those, I get REALLY pissed off cause it's a waste of my time. And with 1200+ users, it's hard to support stupid people that can't read. If that makes me sound like a jerk, well, too bad I guess. I do my best.

Nah makes you sound like someone who doesn't like wasting his time. I completely understand.

All I wanted was a Pepsi, just one Pepsi...

I do think we finally found a bionic on droidrazr that I can't fix. The FXZ succeeds but it still bootloops. It's the strangest issue I've ever seen. I don't even know what to tell them to try at this point. My guess is physical damage but I don't know.

What post numbers are those? I got mine set to ten a page so i cant figure it.out with those page numbers... mine displays post numbers next too the time aswell.....

My post numbers may vary since I can see deleted posts as well but it happened between 12:09 and 12:22 pm EDT.

Some sort of hardware failure, isn't a bootloop caused by a kernel panic? Maybe the RAM failed, seen it happen in PCs.

I honestly don't know. But it can be flashed. Successfully, too. He did mention he charged the battery using the usb cable trick.....um, while it was still in the phone. OUCH. So I don't know.

Well, I can probably get ya back to .905 but you'll have to buy a different bionic. I know where you can probably get one cheap, but it's got minor cosmetic damage. Some jackass crushed it in a vise.

WHY would any sane person WANT to go back to the stone age with .905???? Of course, that being said...why someone would destroy a phone for no real reason other than frustration like that dude did...Yeah...could have just sold it. Hell...if the price was right and it worked I would have bought it...be great for a test phone

OK.. I am ready to take the plunge. .247 here I come. First step FXZ back to 905 using the original HOB.... :icon_ devil:

Alright, well I'm going to upgrade to 247 from 246 now... With Ubuntu..... After 3 glasses of wine... And having never used HoB before........

This should be interesting.

Ummm, hmmm. I'm not quite sure that's going to work out for you. OTOH, I and my testers have spent all day working on a linux script that will work in moving someone to 247 from any version. My latest version isn't tested yet and I have no idea if it'll work the way I wrote it. (I added a root option). My script simply flashes system preinstall and boot img and has you reboot into recovery to install the update. It doesn't copy the update for you and it doesn't reboot your phone or do any of the other fun stuff that the HoB does. But i'm not sure if WINE will allow the HoB to work properly or not. It's a risk.

Hmmmm, wonder if it damaged the power management unit and that is throwing a panic? Can he get ahold of a known good battery?

The original HOB? Hell, I'm using HOB 9.0 1/2 to flash .251...after I FXZ back to .893. Danger is my middle cousins last name.

Cause they were on 246, f'd up their phone, and FXZ'd to 905.

Maybe you should spread the download links out throughout the HOB OP and the FAQ and make it where you have to manually create the HOB directory and copy all the downloaded stuff to it again.
You've made it to easy for some people Sam.
