thanks Sam but after reading again I have done all that. Everything worked perfectly right up till the time it went to install root. Did everything to the letter. Not on USB 3.0 as I wouldnt have been able to install 247, moto driver installed, apfastboot per instructions when told to do so by HOB, original cable, rebooted both right before I typed my question. Right now his phone is on 247 and running great. Just wont take root. Anything else or does he have to do a factory reset as a last resort? THanks again Sam

I got the donate version way back win. Suggested $ and pay what you feel it's worth. At the time it was really useful (not that it isn't still). Got a license for two phones and paid a lot more than what it goes for now. Pay of that was to support development across Android, though. I bought alot more stuff then too. Now I spring for things I need or can use, and any kids learning apps that are made well.

and i am a new user of rom toolbox, but have been using TiBu since my OG Droid, i too have the licence version not the $7 one. i bought another one of his apps (don't even use it and could not tell you the name of it) cause Titanium has saved my a$$ more than a couple of times. so i use both :biggrin:
