Ok I think my smartphone really IS smart. I have NEVER seen anything like this happen before across ANY electronic or computer. Kinda creeping me out. Anyways I updated to .247, and all my apps on internal storage again broke. Basically, in my manage applications, about 60 apps, changed from the app and the icon, to their app name, like com.squaresoft.finalfantasy, etc. They do not run when I try to run them, but still take the memory space until I manually fix them each 1 by 1. In my SDCard/.android_secure folder, the file part was there, but in my mnt/asec folder, where normally the other part of an internally stored app, the folder with the data goes, was wiped, I assume by the cache wipe or the flashing of the partitions to trick the .905 technique. Anyways, so I spent the last 2 days, manually uninstalling each of the broken apps, then manually deleting the file in the SDCard/.android_secure folder, because the uninstall wouldn't delete these and I would end up with ghost files if I didn't, taking up double space for an app then.
So I've got about 25 done, and was gonna do some more today, and I went into my manage apps to continue deleting, and about the 30 or so I had left, that I am positive, were broken before, all have their icons and regular app names now. So I'm like WTF. So I go into my asec folder, and their folders are all there like they were supposed to be. Apps that I am 200% positive were broken. Files that were missing, gone, not there, didn't exist in that folder. So I fired a couple up of said apps up, and they work as if nothing had happened. So about 30 missing folders, showed back up 2 days later. Guess they went on vacation or something for a few days haha. And Google Play didn't fix them, because some of them were from Amazon, and some from like Slideme and stuff. Weird glitch.
