Hey guys sorry I have been away had some personal stuff happen but on a better note moot for today with verizon droid bionic confirmed by my source to get JB by early q1 2013 unless the device permits other wise ( not compatible with hardware?) Moot on moto/google deciding on further plans with the bionic outside JB update no specific info as of yet also new OC an quadrant pics ^_^

yeah but that was mainly VZW fault as we found out later... i dont think we will see a delay on JB for the Bionic. Im sure MOto/Google wants to make up for the ICS debacle. you know? i say we get it on time, maybe even early early q1 2013

I just completed updating using the hob. Everything went thru intercept now Keep getting the message'unfortunately the process android.process.score has stopped' I rebooted phone but it won't go away. Any ideas?

I know that 232 to 246 was simple and everything worked. The next night, 246 to 247 on the same laptop wouldn't recognize adb (for the file transfer). Did it manually and knowing the md5 was fine I skipped that. Getting into ap did trigger "install" of adb drivers on laptop though but iirc I tried from beginning again and still wouldn't recognize phone for transfer or sum check.

But then it recognized and rooted after flashing in rsd. Go figure.

I use Windows 7 64 bit so not sure what stops communicating but something does--and that would make anyone second guess themselves. I felt comfortable that I could get things to work even if it meant waiting to get to my PC at work if things went south so I went for it.

So I feel we could cut folks a little slack--but at same time, this tool clearly says it's not a shortcut for learning how it all works.

I guess it could be compared to writing html in NotePad, our using Fireworks or Front page. You're going to want to know how to fix/edit via NotePad in plenty of instances, so the ease of Fireworks will only get you so far if something goes south.

And then there's always the few (or many) who just don't read.
