Hey guys sorry I have been away had some personal stuff happen but on a better note moot for today with verizon droid bionic confirmed by my source to get JB by early q1 2013 unless the device permits other wise ( not compatible with hardware?) Moot on moto/google deciding on further plans with the bionic outside JB update no specific info as of yet also new OC an quadrant pics ^_^

Nope so jb is not in planning an development yet it will be after ics is pushed

Wowzers! From a Bionic? The little engine that could! You still using tweakers OC or did you find another? You need to post that over on the "other place"! Thanks for the expected, but decent news. Not sure about the hardware comment, otherwise why bother with 247 now? Just my thought.

Decided to try the HOB to update from .232 to .247. Before I begin this journey, which folders should I make sure are empty so that I can blow right through the upgrading media database portion? I don't want to sit and wait 10 hours for that to complete.

You need to have all your music and movies etc off of the phone. (Not on sd or sd-ext)

One complaint is have with ics is that my wifi is inconsistent. I don't always connect like I did on gb. And sometimes I try to force it by hitting connect but it doesnt connect... any ideas why?

I had wifi connection problems immediately after upgrading to .246. What worked for me was to do a factory reset and reconfig on my router. Another user reported similar problems and fixed his by updating his router's firmware. I'd try the firmware update first, to see if that takes care of it.
