Sarge, look at the hardware. Aside from the removable battery, the Bionic IS in the same device family. If they try to use that line as an excuse to delay our updates forever, it's a bunch of hooey from a hardware perspective. It can't be THAT hard to code a display driver for a RGBW PenTile display vs. AMOLED.

The bionic is next but with the rumored 6.8.648 being built I wouldnt be surprised if they skip ICS entirely an go to JB which would ideal but I doubt it would happen

That's one of the HUGE reasons why I think we're GONNA see ICS, no matter how close JB is. Given that the entire purpose of 247 was to add a JB patch to 246.

Omg idk how many times samuri has said this or how many times I have said it if ur on 247 an only 247 an the ota which is 247 unless by some divine intervention its not u will be on the ota path an will get jb jesus people dont u read or pay attention to what me or samuri say?

No u wouldnt hob would be able to flash the JB build plus like I said 6.8.648 is made to flash over 247 an it would be idiotic to change the security on JB if there is no ICS fxz since there was no ICS ota if they went to JB an skipped ICS

So you're saying even if they did that, it would use security version 4 just like ICS does, and the mini-FXZ would get us back on "fake 905" which would be good enough to apply JB, and it would work just like HoB-ing a new ICS leak?
