I never said scenario 3 was likely. I only outlined the 3 POSSIBLE scenarios. I'm quite sure I know which one is going to happen. I even said that in my post...

SIGH. So anyway, it's not that big of a deal regardless. If they push 906, we get the FXZ, use it with the HoB when JB is available, and we're done. I don't appear to be concerned because I'm not.

Ergo Sum: In SamuriHL we trust! You've been quite a Godsend to us here in spite of the grief we cause you from time to time.

I continue to support the community regardless. As I said. My participation in non-HoB problem related discussions is and will continue to be extremely limited, but, this topic would turn into a frenzy without some information being tossed out there. People need to relax. We're covered in all the scenarios. Some would just take longer than others.

Well, option 3 would be the most ridiculously stupid waste of resources ever, so I guess it's unlikely - unless the "new" Moto is just as spiteful as Verizon themselves.

No, it's THEIR ****ing fault that a bunch of us felt the NEED to run leaks. Without the ICS leaks, the Bionic would be utterly worthless given their ****up with .905 - and it's THEIR fault that POS build ever got approved.

Jeebus man. Running a leak is at your own risk.. running it is because you're impatient. absolutely NOT their "fault". you should chill.

While I'm here and actually bothering to post, I want to clear up some other stuff. Those waiting on baited breath for the 6.8.248 release need to be aware of 2 things that are likely going to dampen your enthusiasm.

1) It's going to be an engineering build. It will not install on a retail phone. So why the hell do people care so much about it other than to prove that JB is being worked on?
2) Let's say 6.8.249 comes out and is an installable build. What are you going to do, install it? Really? How are you going to FXZ back to 247 to take the next leak? We don't have an ICS FXZ yet so you'd be stuck there until we did.

So, don't just rush blindly into "the next biggest thing" just cause you're impatient...it'd cause you problems that I'm not willing to help with.

But, I would think that the 248 build potential would not have surfaced prior to a potential 906 showing up in Cheesecake. That would be a cart before the horse scenario and I don't think they are in that kind of mode at the moment IMHO.

And you should stop telling me to chill, before I react in a way that gets me banned from this forum. 905 was THEIR fault, no ifs, ands, or buts. But i'm VERY happy that 905 works so well for you.

I'm quite happy as I found I have 7..... YIPEE :icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala::icon_ lala:

we get it. you're not happy about the situation. we've all seen the swearing rants. it is what it is. deal with it. Oh and who said I was still on .905?

I have 2 and the unfortunate thing is it is the one still on 905, my 247 only has 5...... Perhaps that explains why my 905 has had almost zero problems ????
I don't even understand how you figure out how many slots you have. I looked into that Tweakerz thing and I still don't understand it. All I know is, somehow my Bionic inexplicably lost 1,000 points on the Quadrant benchmark over the past couple of days, and a FDR did not clear it up, nor did a reflash of 247. So I NEED to be able to OC this thing, pretty soon it'll be slower than my OG Droid was. It's still clocked at 1.2GHz, so I don't understand the loss of speed. I've obviously got a serious hardware problem developing, but at this point have NO warranty options and cannot afford the insurance deductible let alone a new phone.
