I did a cache wipe in recovery and ran the quad test and came up with 1200 I/O.
Out of all the scores thats the lowest.

I did not see the clear dalvic option so i didnt perform that operation.

If i get that number up to where every one else is up to this phone will have some impressive scores

If you're using the touch recovery, it's under Advanced > Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Suit yourself. I'm not sure what you consider "too much work". I've made it about as drop dead simple as it can possibly be. If a new build comes out, you download the HoB update installer that installs support for it or make a ### directory that corresponds to the update, drop the update zip into it, and run the HoB. 30 minutes later you're on the new version with no data loss. I'm not sure where the work is?

Well yes you have made it simple, but for me my problem is that I would have to get on the computer and download this stuff. My parents would kill me if I started messing around with my phone, and my mom would kill me if I downloaded anything onto the computer. I rarely have time to get on the computer, it would be too much work to cover my tracks.

You need to select the options O'you're phone that hob tells you too. It does root that how we've all done it.

To clear dalvik, go into the advanced option.

Jus says usb debugging. I always do that. I'm going to raid the FAQ for answers...and answers i shall get! I'm a level 28 interrogator!! Haha.

It seems to take longer on database writes in the I/O test.

Is that any indication of whats slowing it down?

Db writes takes the longest for me as well, so it's probably just a relative thing.

Might be worth trying a different benchmarking app altogether, just to rule out any weirdness with Quadrant on your phone. AnTuTu has a separate I/O test if you want to try that one. I'll install/run it and we can compare scores.

So this is stuck on 1.0 MHz with 16 gb internal on .247, have to say very happy with it don't really care about ota, have JB on XOOM and not a huge difference.

In regards to what? The ICS update or the Motorola mystery device? Or what?

Issue with the FCC if I remember correctly... kind of hard to keep up with all the voices in here...and on this thread :D

I honestly don't think it will be anything that will help us current Bionic owners. If it's unlocked bootloaders it will be BUT not on older devices, If its ICS or JB it will be BUT not now, maybe some time soon if we decide to. Even if we were to get ICS and JB by christmas I'm pretty much done with Moto and maybe VZW too when forced off of unlimited data. Speaking of unlimited data there are already stories that VZW wants to switch to Voice over LTE by 2014 and Voice minutes will go away and everything will be using only data but with some kind of whacked up new plans to milk more money out of everyone. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57...s-for-voice-over-lte-in-late-2013-early-2014/

Im on stock .905 and i ran quadrant cpu was 3006 IO was 1709 but 2D was like 242..why would 2d (graphics i assume) be so low, i think over all was like 1850.

I still think it is something to do with their partnership with TWC..but it very well could be something with their handeling of their data spectrum
