Im on stock .905 and i ran quadrant cpu was 3006 IO was 1709 but 2D was like 242..why would 2d (graphics i assume) be so low, i think over all was like 1850.

There is an option in ICS to force 2D hardware acceleration which many of us are using ... boosts Quadrant scores by a couple hundred points, and might account for the difference you are seeing with 2D scores.

I was going to jump to .247 from .905 but im on a fixed data plan here on my internet....running a mifi...and i have 1 week to go on this billing plan and i dont want to go over cause verizon likes to throttle me when i go over...lol + the 10 bucks...lol...so im just sitting here waiting for OTA.

Because you have to check the 2D GPU rendering option in "Developer Options" to get the 2D score up. With that enabled, I get right around 1000 2D.

I still think it is something to do with their partnership with TWC..but it very well could be something with their handeling of their data spectrum

I think it more likely has to do with their mishandling of the LTE spectrum. That's a BIG deal, and something that Google would worry about.

Completely missed the part where he said he was on 905. In that case, it's normal, 2D GPU rendering was introduced with ICS. Before then, it was software 2D rendering, which accounts for the low score. I misread the post, I thought he was saying that his overall Quadrant score is 3006, which simply isn't happening on GB *LOL*

I love that quote, "Unlimited is just a word, it doesn't really mean anything." Could be straight out of George Orwell. "Loyalty" is just a word too, which VZW is going to find out soon enough.

Honestly people really just need to read through this and the linked articles it contains to see who really holds the power here, VZW could tell Moto to take a hike tomorrow without really hurting its business.
