Agreed. They had a chance and completely blew it. I wouldn't even think to use one now. Too bad though. I used to build with them all the time. Wish they could find their way again.

Complete agreement here. There was a time AMD was exciting..very stable OC'ing without needing to do much. Somewhere around the time the Phenom quad chip came out (I couldn't wait to break one in), they lost their edge.
If AMD were to join in making mobile chips, they would probably loose their a$$. They have ALOT of catching up to do!

Agreed, They completely lost my business with the last 2 chip releases! Still running a x4 for my linux box though, new gaming rig is intel now! Still an nvidia sli fan though!

Nope. Me too for now. Still tossing around the idea of making the jump though.

I don't want to. I dont think I could anyway because none of my computers are running on Windows. I use Ubuntu 12.04 on all of them. My dad also has a Mac, and the only computer in the house is my moms, which I had to use to RSD back to 905

AMD video cards are still good though. Recently picked up HD7870 card and that thing plays all the games I throw at it very nicely

If only someone documented how to do these things on linux or a mac in his handy little FAQ, then you'd be able to do it by hand. Hmmmm, odd. Oh well.

My everyday OS is Ubuntu but I dual boot winblows for gaming.

Its pretty easy for me to wait for the OTA. I just do other stuff like watch a movie. The only thing that bugs me about the OTA not being out yet is that my car radio doesnt sync up easily with GB. I always have to disconnect, then reconnect and then it works.
