wouldn't that be .... DOS?

Well, yes and no. Have you ever went into Safe Mode with Command Prompt? Basically the server boots up into normal mode and all you get is a command prompt window. Had a test Windows Server 8 beta doing that, it worked pretty nicely. Wasn't a big fan of the Metro thing for a server but Windows Servers sure are nice and easy to work with heh =]

Kids these days just don't know. Everything is cable ready,AV inputs,S video, HDMI....RF modulator being attached to the VHF screws on the back of a B/W TV and listening to those tubes warm up....those were the days.

*Damn, not only do I sound old..it reminds me just how much those days SUCKED! Hahahaha

Dude I wish I lived in the 80's. My old IBM PS/2 laptop still works. It has a 386 with like 8 MB of ram, a monochrome LCD displau, a floppy drive, and I think i threw in a 6GB drive in there, but because the hard drive is so "large" I had to use a disk manager to allow the laptop to utilize the hard drive correctly. I think its called OnTrack Disk Manager for anyone that needs it. XD..

old ya... my first PC was and XT with 512k ram and 20 MB hard drive and a CGA monitor. Our phone put it to shame!

You call THAT "old"? My first "PC" was a Sinclair ZX-81 with 1k of RAM and cassette tape storage. Monitor was a black+white TV, ZX-81 didn't support color. OR bit-addressable graphics. OR sound.
