Speaking of which, DAYUMN this thing is huge! LOL! xDDD
Having done a bit of scripting before, I can probably tell if it will work or not by looking at the code. I don't know if I'm up to re-flashing my phone tonight..

That's cause it includes system, preinstall, and the update zip.

Thanks, but I think this is the same version I have -- at least the apk file is the exact same size, to the byte. Have you been able to make a nandroid with it successfully?

Yes i am using it now its my personal copy

Got it, Chrome is being weird on me for some reason on my linux box. Not seeing any messages.
Windows works ok. very odd. will test it shortly

Thanks. I'm very curious how badly I messed it up. I'm building a 64 bit ubuntu VM as we speak so I should be able to develop it easier going forward. Not sure if I can flash from VM but I can at least debug the script before having you guys test it. This will allow me to get it up to par with the windows version. The mac/linux crowd NEED a script like that IMO.

Almost done downloading!
Like I said, I probably won't try it tonight, but maybe I will, now that I have a handle on how to do it... I dunno... xDDD
I will at least look at the script and see if I can find anything wrong/right with it. I've scripted a little before, so I can try and check it for syntax, etc

So upgraded to 247 (some issues) now My Verizon app shows the data use from when I was on 232. It will not update since I updated to 246, I've been trying to get an average of my data use, same thing on 247. I know that ICS shows your data use, but does verizon not see it now?

Alright. Well, just so you know, the ADB command DID work, so if you want you can include it in the script.
I'm just gonna go ahead and test it right now, so I'll post results in a bit.

you should be able to flash from Linux via a VM just need to make sure you allow the VM to have access to the HOST hardware.
I do it in reverse though, Ubuntu is my main OS and windows are in a VM.

Testing V4 now

Top half of the script is made by someone else and I know it works. It's when I start making functions and doing the function calls at the bottom that things could get a bit messy.

I just uninstalled mine and installed yours, but it's throwing the same errors. Also, the version of CWM it installs is the same -- v6.0.1.0.

Are u rooted?

In the recovery have it log the error file and post it. It sounds the same as what happened to me

FINALLY!! .247 courtesy of HoB

So far, looking good. This script is very nice actually. It's doing everything that I did manually before and it's all in one package. I highly suggest you put this in the FAQ for Linux users at least. ^^

Nicely done Samuri! -hugs- o;
