YEAH baby! My Demo will be here today!

OP, is there a 4G toggle on the phone?

No there is not. I am willing to bet Beautiful Widgets (or similar) will have one after it is released though.

Curious, BMX has said repeatedly that there is the ability to either toggle LTE (like a widget) or disable it (like under settings where you disable 3G). I know he has said that you can turn off 4G cuz people on twitter have asked him that point blank & he replied in the affirmative. Since yours is a preproduction unit maybe that was left off? Hopefully.

Can you link us (and do you need a twitter account)?

A friend of mine has the Sprint EVO and it came with a widget to toggle "4g". We can toggle data sync using an OEM widget...

That, or I have to be in a 4G area to have to option to shut it off...

I'd tell you to use twiiter and ask BMX how his has one and yours doesn't, but he is off of twitter for lent. You could try him at his blog,

. He has been using the Tbolt for at least 1-2 months so he should be able to tell you about it. I can also pm you his gmail account.

Hey, like all the others before me here, thanks for helping us keep our sanity. On the car dock thing, in your app drawer, is there one called Car Panel? I know it's not an app that opens automatically when you place it in a dock (you have to select it), but that is there correct?

App Drawer>All Apps: No "Car Panel."
Some people have noticed that on Verizon's developer website, it does mention that a car kit is one of the supported accessories. Not definitive proof, note also that there are some errors in a couple of the specs, but I will remain hopeful.

See last bullet under Specifications:
HTC Thunderbolt
Here's a picture of the car dock, says that it 'automatically triggers navigation mode':

Car dock will be nice. Doesn't look compatible with any cases though. Also wonder how they're triggering navigation mode?

Johnboy, speaking of cases...how is the finish of the TB holding up in the short time you've had it? Do you think it will hold up over time?

I have never seen an OEM dock that will accommodate any kind of a case (at least not recently). Too many "aftermarket" options to make it so that it likely wouldn't work anyway. Navigation mode would be interesting... perhaps in the final production run there will be a magnet trigger?

Everything is perfectly fine, though there is a bit of wear on the clearcoat of the kickstand, at the very end of the kickstand. Since it is basically brushed aluminum anyway, not a big deal.

Do you have any experience with class 6 or higher micro SD cards in the Thunderbolt? I'm wondering whether it would be worth the investment for a class 6 or 10 card for faster taking/loading of pictures and videos. If I'm not mistaken the 32gb card that comes with the TB is a class 4?

The only two Micro SD's I have are Class 4's (which the TBolt comes with).
