Your Droid Physical Keyboard

I got mine from Telus in Canada, keys are raised.

not as much in the picture but you can easily feel where each key starts and ends.

for those who have flat ones is it harder to type on? i've been reading reviews of the droid and people don't seem to like the keyboard so much, i personally thing its fine but i'm not sure if the raised keys make that much difference?

I need to try typing on my friends droid...I got mine in december and his a good while after that and his are flat as a pancake

Mine are flat too. I never new they made droids with raised keyboards.

I have the raised keys and never knew it till now... and I've been in so many arguments about this keyboard being just as good as any other I've used.

Now I realize I've been argueing with people who actually have a whole different animal in their hand than I do..

I gadda tell Noah from phone dog sorry for ripping him so hard that one time... he goes on and on about how terrible the keyboard is on the Droid.... he probly got the flat version.... I should go back and watch his videos again and see if I can spot the difference.

Yeah, I figured all keyboard were the same. But after seeing 5 different Droids that belong to friends, I realized my keyboard was the only raised one. Oh well. I love my raised keyboard. Makes typing way easier/faster.

yeah 2 of my co-workers have raised kbs the rest of us losers have the flat ones (about 10%) 2 out of 19...

My KB is flat, I've tried using but it's too wretched. I blaze with the screen KB so I don't miss it at all.

I used the physical keyboard at first... but with swype you really don't need it other than to boot into recovery. I've considered gluing it shut.

Anyway, mine is flat and I got it in January.

damn, I wish I had the raised keyboard, I hate the flat one, I literally never use it.

Mine's raised. Refurb unit from last month. The raised keyboard is actually usable. The flat one is garbage. I hated my initial unit. But of course swype is still king for speed.

They will get raised over time with use. Trust me. I didn't believe this but after getting a replacement droid and using it for a while, my flat keys became raised.
