Downloaded my update this morning! (Charlotte, NC) I can FINALLY sync with my employer's Microsoft Exchange server -- YAYYY!!!!! :icon_ banana:

I have yet to see anyone make a comment regarding the ring volume.
I have heard nothing positive or negative yet (it hasn't really been mentioned at all).

It was my #1 thing I was looking forward too.

I feel as if there was no change at all. Seems the same to me as in terms of volume.

theres another thread, a few threads down where its being discussed. so far, people have reported that there has been no change.

Ya I don't really hear a change....I just played with it. The thing is when you set the phone on its back it covers the speaker thus muffleing the volue. I wish the Ringtone played out of all speakers on it.

Yes, but even in that aspect... If you were to face the phone face down and the back up, it really isn't very loud. I can't imagine other phones to be more quiet at 100% max volume.

Sad..... Hope they plan another quick / seperate update to fix it (If it is fixable)

Why wait for Verizon? Just go get it in Settings > About Phone > System Update

OK, since the update I have to put in a PIN to unlock the phone every time the display goes off. I've tried to change it, but the setting is grayed out saying 'disabled by remote phone administrator'.

What the hell? I HATE having to type in a pin every time I access my phone. How do I turn this damn thing off??

NJ here.... getting no update avail... although i watched my co-worker down load the new update right in front of me. its like eating a feast in front of a homeless man im so sad
