.215 ICS Leak

I find it funny that I WAKE UP with wifi working and everything. The minute I post here, wifi disconnects and now it won't connect back even after a reboot. I guess it knew I was getting ready to download this zip from my phone. Ha.

No one has to respond to this post, I just had to vent about this bull ish. Lol.

Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Tapatalk 2.

Anyone know if there is an option or add-on for Chrome to clear history and cache when you exit?

Guys, can anyone answer my question above? I also posted on the other forum about this, but no response. I'm curious because I can't download the utility until I make it home, but I already have the update file downloaded. I just need someone to confirm to me that I'm doing the right thing. I'm under the impression that I have to wipe cache and reboot a few times, and then reboot in motorola recovery -> apply update from SD card. Is this correct?>

Are you or were you rooted? I was never rooted and I did not have to wipe my cache or anything before installing the update. It couldn't hurt to wipe the cache though.

Nope, not rooted at all. So I can just apply update from card, should be fine from there?

Yes. As long as the update file is on your sd card, not in a folder or amything but by itself on your sd card. You should be fine to install it. Also the update folder will say that its .211 but it is really .215. I had trouble with that at first.

Gotcha. Thanks!

I just noticed that the setting for the mobile network didn't revert back like it has been after a reboot.

I booted into recovery and wiped the cache and when I booted back up like normal it was still set on CDMA auto (prl). Not sure if I just got lucky or the leak fixed that.

Yeah mine doesn't stick after a reboot either. Wish I knew why.

Not for that... But you should use smart actions to disable data when wifi is connected

It's been enabled since I got the Maxx. Just seems to have happened since ICS. I came from the nexus s and the bug on that was auto rotate. It wouldn't allow your phone to "sleep" thus keeping it awake and your display showing a high reading. Until another update dropped, that was the culprit. On here, turning it off had no effect.
