.215 ICS Leak

I'm completely stock too. I downloaded the update and moved it from the download folder into my SD card, by using My Files, NOT Astro. It kept failing when I moved it with Astro. Simply move the file into the SD card, power off, and follow the recovery procedure.

ok, I am not rooted and i am on the official ICS OTA. You're saying I can download the .215 leak, put it in the root of my SDCard, boot into recovery wipe cache/fdr and then select install update from SDCard and I'm good to go? Even though I am not rooted. I'm completely stock.

I had a hard time believeing it was that simple as well haha. As Krenzy said, just put the .215 update file by itself on your SD card, then boot into recovery mode, navigate the recovery menu to find where it says 'Install updates from SD card' and the file should be there. It will say the file is still .211 but its actually .215, I had trouble with that at first.

This question is a bit off topic, but is it safe to freeze the Google Play Movies app that is built in? Or is it the only way to watch my recorded videos as well? Thank you in advance!

do you mean like from a custom ROM?

No I ment from 215 back down to 211 like there was from 214
Just wanted it just in case I'm liking the new leak so far, I don't think my battery is dropping as fast...

On 211 my phone was very laggy and even felt like it froze every so often. And that was after a wipe and restore

You can freeze it, but after a reboot it will defrost itself and magically reappear. Same with Google Play Books ... for some reason those two apps don't like to be frozen. The only way to get rid of them is to rename the .apk files by adding .bak at the end of the file name. Don't CHANGE the name, just add .bak to the end and the system won't recognize them. :)

Not yet... you would have to use Matt's utility 1.8 to do that, but I doubt you'll want to anyways

Does yours stay frozen after reboot?? Mine wouldn't, I even emailed TB support about it ... that's why I ended up changing the name of the .apk.
yea... whatever I freeze always stays frozen... that sucks dude, maybe try uninstalling TiBU and then reinstalling? you probably already tried that though
