.215 ICS Leak

Nope. That's what I wanted and is proof. I didn't go anywhere. The "update" was the exact same version. I figured out it MUST be on the External SD card and MUST be flashed from the MOTO Recovery. It's updating LTE now. THANK YOU!!

If you had read the thread you would have seen that before you did that, sir ... *Runs and hides* :icon_eek: :p

I deserved that!

LOL! Thanks MattyP!

It sounds like you installed the zip file for the downgrade process, did the zip file you use have a .211 in the title or a .214?

No, it wasn't the downgrade, apparently it was the SAME version (.211). It just wouldn't take because I was doing it from CWM, not the Moto Recovery. Also, it was on the internal SD card. Moved it to the External SD, rebooted into Stock Recovery, flashed and it went off without a hitch. Thanks for the suggestion of possible cause though. :hail:

I don't think I've downloaded the downgrade zip yet. Haven't needed it since I didn't upgrade to .214. However when I saw the positive response to .215, and that it had Chrome built-in, I decided to take the plunge.

Yeah I have been pretty pleased with it so far. Does seem to be a bit quicker than before. Good leak.

Alright, I have the .215 zip file on my sd card. Before I boot into recovery and try to install the update, what are the chances I can screw my phone up? Reason I am asking is because I have no way to fix it using my pc because I currently do not have internet service to download files.

I downloaded the file from the link posted earlier in the thread. I have it placed on my sd card but when I go into recovery mode and try to install it only finds a .211 update file. Do I need to unzip the .215 file?

No you shouldn't, you know that the .215 is named the same as .211 right? it doesn't have .215 in its name

Did not know this. Thanks! I probably would have driven myself crazy looking for it.

I'm already very impressed. It's lots snapper than the .211 OTA. I'm also pleased it comes with Chromeinstalled. I'm sure there are other enhancements, and can't wait to find them.

So if I install this but decide to go back to stock for a new OTA update, what's involved in bringing it back to stock?
