5.5.5.893 FXZ .901/.902 compatible and.902 update

Hello

I have a rooted .893 bionic. i am unable to get the OTA update from Verizon. When I am installing it, a triangle with an exclamation mark appears, then when my phones powers up, it says update failed. i have also un rooted my phone. How do i get the OTA update??

tried to find a link for a linux RSD lite version an couldnt find it

Lol sorry my bad i wasn't very clear. i installed rsd lite using wine and used this link for the motofail linux osx version http://vulnfactory.org/public/motofail_linux_osx.zip just though i'd post it for you so you could update your op so both links are there and you could save some people hours of serching for the linux version thanks again for your hard work and everyone that help out i'll do what i can to pay it forward

I have a question can i reroot using petes one click method after flashing ur files, or use other method listed. How do i unroot after using the other method

U have to use the method posted in the op to reroot an to unroot just reflash any of the fxzs an it will erase all traces of rooting

ok i got it, downloaded program for extracting rar. Okay my questions is to root i just download it, unzip or leave zipped and transfer to phone via usb, then run it from my phone ?

Ok u dont put any files on ur phone via usb u need to download an install rsd lite boot ur phone into ap fast boot by holding down both volume buttons an power button when the phone is off it will put u in the boot screen then use the volume down to scroll when u reach the boot screen an then volume up to select ap fastboot battery must be atleast 80% before doing this. Then open rsd lite an at the top there is a blank space an next to it is a browse button click on it an then browse an select the zip file u downloaded an select uncompress an flash an leave it alone untill the status in rsd lite says PASS

i flashed files and message manually power never went away, but phone has new update never bricked no problem. Question to i fastboot again to root ?

sorry my bad, i flashed fxz file .902 update everything went flawless till the manually power up came up, but it never went away after waiting 5mins. my phone just rebooted like it was new. Rsd. lite never said finished, so i rolled the dice figured i could reflash if i had problems but everything went fine after i unplugged it before getting finished on rsd. lite. My question is do i boot into fastboot to root too, then find file uncomp. and flash and wait till rsd lite in done ?

Sometimes the status on rsd lite doesnt say pass or finish so as long as the phone has fully booted an stays booted for longer than 5 min an doesnt reboot then ur fine to unplug an play with it

Ok thanx so much for ur help, one last question to root my phone use same method as flashing file, power up into fastboot and uncompress and flash root file?
