This is great! It's the first froyo rom I've tried that's run this fast or been stable on my droid. (and it's quite stable for me w/ the chevyno1 1ghz lv kernel.) I'm enjoying the modded music.apk with gestures, too. This is also the first time I've ever been satisfied with the speed of any alternate home screen app. Thanks, Jrummy!

You do know that LauncherPro has a 3D app tray? You just need to enable it in the settings.

Under advanced settings in launcher pro. Check the box next to 3d launcher. Also make sure you have the latest version.

Ive got some kind of glitch that used to happen on the old cyanmod roms. If the battery got really low and I tried charging it through a laptop it wouldn't work. my car charger works fine, but the usb/laptop wouldn't do anything.

I left it charging and it died, and then wouldn't turn on. took it out to the car and it booted as soon as i got the plug in.

(for the record, the charging light was on in both cases, but nomatter what I did i couldn't get it to start up on my lappy.)

Try disabling USB debugging, it has given me issues on stock as well. Let me know if that works for you.




Qudwis, do you have the latest clockworkmod? Make sure you do, I had a glitch similar awhile back. Revert to your last nandroid backup in recovery mode.

for right now its working pretty well in my car. wireless tether works better in a car than a cabin in the middle of nowhere :-D

I've been flashing custom ROMs for a bit now but I'm still not sure I'm getting the scripts portion, are these like batch files you need to run through a terminal?

I let it run overnight as was suggested, and I still have none of the free apps synced that I had before installed this rom. It only synced 4 apps. It shows only purchased apps in my downloads in the market, and again, it only synced 4 of them......

I love the look of the Blue Theme with this Rom but I have had some issues. I can't get a new kernel to load so I can get about 800 MHZ. I've downloaded P3's, Chevy's, BeKits but all I end up with is 800. I've had no trouble before with other ROM's but for this one, nothing else will load. I want to use this because I love the looks of it; however, I'd love to better the performance. Any ideas on why this is happening?

btw...I'm downloading these kernels through Rom Manager and flashing using Clockwork Mod recovery. I've even tried it through SPR to no avail. Puzzled, to say the least.

Is anyone having problems with K-9 Mail? Setup appears to go fine. Then it does a FC every time I select it from the menu.

I uninstalled, reinstalled from market and it does the same thing.

To be honest, this has done the same thing on Pete's Froyo also so I am thinking the application itself is not happy but wanted to see if anyone had it working.

Did you do a complete wipe before flashing the ROM?

Have you tried clearing the cache?

settings> applications>manage applications>all>market>clear data and cache

I had the same problem, what I did was just re flash clockwork by clicking the "Flash ClockworkMod Recover" button. I ended up just doing it twice but I'm sure if you just re flash it once it will work fine also.

Hey everyone, my wifi doesn't seem to be working in this install. I tried using a Chevy and a P3Droid 1.1 and 1.0 GHz Kernel just incase that was the problem.

I can turn on wifi, type in the password to my network, then it says "Obtaining IP Address from ________" and then Wifi will turn itself off automatically and then back on and restart the process again with no success.

anyone have any idea?

my issues...

after complete wipe and install, none of my apps would load. manually installed astro & titanium and the ROM wouldn't reload any of my backed up apps or system data via titanuim either. maps still an issue and

i tried reinstalling busybox via titanium and still wont work...

chris420o - Assuming that you have the goodies installed, the script "launcher" will flip back and forth between ADW and the stock 2.2.
