Doh! You're right. For some reason, I thought they released the source code with the SDK, but it's only up to Gingerbread on the source website.

Ya wiped everything and did an advanced restore from the 1013

If I had to pick a reason, I'd say it might be because of something in your data you restored. Try making a clockwork backup of your current setup (in case data isn't the reason) and once that's done, do a factory reset and see if wifi turns on after that

I just rooted and set up CM7...after messing around for a while, I couldn't find anywhere to set the right physical button to launch an app like the calendar, or to set the microphone/voice button to bring up Vlingo or Voice search. Any solutions? Am I missing something?

I don't think the use of the side button or voice button will ever make its way into cm7. Holding the magnifying glass button will bring up the voice search. Unless google or cyanogenmod implements these things into the ice cream sandwich I'm not sure if it will ever make its way into our builds

Keyboard Issue

I keep getting this anytime I need to input text, and I have to FC.

ok I got a problem and maybe jackpot you can help me figure it out.
ok I did the sbf from the 3.8.7 or what ever the numbers ,
updated to the latest GB and did a nandroid,
then loaded cm7 and first off it would not let me do a data restore said md5 mismatch ,
then when I tried to go back to stock GB from nandroid backup it says md5 mismatch,where am I going wrong,thanks again for a great rom

I just had this happen to me.

You need to install adb shell, google for a tutorial on how to get that up and running.

Then you need to fix the md5sum mismatch on the backup. Follow the instructions, and plug in the instructions on the following link, but change the name of the backup being edited to reflect the name of your backup.

Is there a way to get "voice search" to work with bluetooth? it only seems to want to bring up the built in "voice dialer" app. I'd like to be able to click on the call button on my bluetooth and bring up the voice search app because it gives me more options, ie searching, get directions, etc. I know on the Dpro running foryo/gb it launched voice search over bluetooth.

If you renamed the folder containing the clockwork backup and it has a space in that, it'll mismatch

I've found that if your data cuts out if you lose signal, calling your voicemail real quick and hanging up once it connects brings data connectivity back

Bump... this is happening to me as well, and as much as I'm in love with this ROM (thanks clavin!) it might be a dealbreaker if I can't type.

After all, the keyboard is the whole reason I bought the Pro...
