[ROM] [6/6/2012] CM7 for the Droid Pro based on GB

OK, I just extracted gapps on the SD card. Now I reboot to recovery using power R+M?

Tried reboot to recovery...still stuck at triangle/robot.

Actually...here's a question that may negate the rest of this:

My SOLE reason for rooting this phone is to get wireless wifi tethering. Can I stop right here, with it rooted, and d/l a tether app and be done?

no while in recovery follow the steps

1. choose backup and restore
2. choose backup, then let it backup stock rooted ROM incase you need it again
3. select (wipe data factory reset) and run
4. select (wipe cache) and run
5. select advanced and then select (wipe dalvik) and run
7. select install zip from sd
8. select choose zip
9. scroll down to the CM7 zip and select and flash
10. select choose again and install gapps the same way
11, select reboot system

ALL THIS IS DONE AT YOUR OWN RISK

btw you should never have to use stock recovery

ok then open it as you would any app, select bootstrap recovery, it should ask for super user permission, allow it, then it should say successful click ok, then select reboot recovery

OK, did that. Then wiped cache and data, and installed 1125.zip from SD card. It's installing now...

When that's done, I reboot, install Gapps, reboot?

its ok just go back to recovery but this time dont use droid2 boot strap there is an option in power menu that allows rebooting into recovery
