Okay I'm on the verge of taking the root/rom plunge, is this a good beginner ROM or is this a little bit more complex. I like the extra scripts and stuff and I've done a lot of reading, but I've read so much I don't know which way is up anymore. So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have no issues or bugs seems to work fine to me i want a better keyboard though... not that i use it much but a prettyer looking onscreen keyboard would be nice

Personally I think all of jrummy's rom's are great..there are a few bugs in this one but nothing that is overcomplicating to fix..if u take the plunge read through this thread and you will find issues ppl are having and most of the time the answer to fix the problem.

tethering seem to be broken

Tried to use it. Tethering either via the native tether function or via the free ad-hoc Wi-Fi Tether app -- doesn't work. When trying to use the native tether functionality, I get an error trying to start it up. When I try to use the Wi-Fi tether app (free, open-source), it starts the native Wi-Fi tether, and even though my Mac connects, it never DHCP's.

Installed with no problems, running just fine, used Titanium for app restore no problems with the market.
Ran the icon fix for the Hotspot issue...one small issue I lost the themed Google search when I switched to Launcher Pro from Launcher 2, would like to get that themed search.
Anyone have a solution for that?

There are links to themed versions of Launcher PRO for every color on the First page of this thread, check towards the bottom of the first post. dancedroid

Thanks for your info unfortunately not quite the answer I was looking for. Also there's not a themed Launcher Pro for Nex-Tang listed. For anyone else looking for the answer to my question I found after a bit of searching.

"It only appears if you use Launcher2, if you use alternative launcher you'll get the unthemed one.
It's because the search widget is part of the Launcher."

I tried installed the newest version today and I selected the TARDIS lwp and it was fc and every lwp was fc actually. Is this a known bug?

Has anyone else lost the ability to find your location over the network or gps in programs like Flixster Movies? With that app I can't find theaters near me because the app can't seem to access the Network or GPS location. I keep getting a message to enable my location settings in the system menu. Before anyone tells me to go to settings, locations and security and then enable wireless network and GPS, they were already enabled. I went back to the Bugless Beast v.04 and the location information worked fine. That's why I am wondering if there might be a bug in the ROM. I tried both the Nex-Theme and Nex-Kang themed roms and both have the problem. Please let me know because I really love the Kangerade roms.

i installed through RM. Used the customizer installation method. WIPED DATA/CACHE. Everything installed just fine...after entering my google account i clicked finish my setup wizard FCs and i get a black screen. i can see the notification bar. i can even pull it down. but nothing will get me to homescreen. Its just a black screen. i tried rebooting but it just put me into a bootloop.

i think im good now. i downloaded and installed link in OP in recovery and it got me to the homescreen

I just tried changing my wallpaper a LWP and it forced closed on me. Got this info from the logs:

According to the logs the nexus(neural network) LWP is missing from the build. I tested all the other LWPs (Galaxy, Grass, Magic Smoke, Many, Maps, Polar, Spectrum, VU meter, Water and Waveform) work just fine. Minor oversight IMO, since everything else is freakin cherry If anyone knows how to slip that LWP that'd be cool. If not no big deal let's just make sure its not forgotten in the next version.

Btw, Green theme is so freakin sexy man, great work!

If this was the lwp that comes with the rom then I know a temporary fix.

Go to the lwp, it may fc, go to settings anyway, choose your background and color, set the wallpaper, it will set and you will have no more fc.

Ah ok cool. Doesn't really bother me I don't use that particular wallpaper but that'll do in a pinch. Thx

EDIT: Worked like a charm Is this because no default configuration for this LWP was defined?
