OK - rebooted into clockwork..wiped cache partition, rebooted...still no market.

Have u tried using fix permissions in the Rom manager?

No, but in the meantime, I just restored the backup I did right before starting all this (the original P3 Froyo build), and the market works just fine...gonna try going back up to Kangerade again..maybe it was just some glitch when installing although everything appeared to go smoothly...obviously no one else is having this problem...will let ya know in a few minutes what happens...

quick question kind of tied to my other post, theres an option under privacy setting to do a factory data reset, if I were to click on that would that delete my kangerade->froyo-> and everything and go back to the way the phone was when first bought, unrooted and everything?

No..it will erase all data and apps and return your current Rom to its normal state as if u did a fresh install.

OK - re-installed Kangerade Blueberry..a few things went different this time namely the download went a LOT quicker, and even though I selected a live wallpaper and boot animation in the setup, I had the stock Eye animation and the same live wallpaper I'd been using before..outside of that, though...still no dice...market still doesn't work...tried fix permissions..still doesn't work...market does show up if I long press home to switch tasks, so again, it does seem to be actually running in the background somewhere..I guess maybe it just doesn't work in the Blueberry theme or something...I'll try one of the other ones and see if it's any different.

I have the blue berry theme and it works for me, maybe try downgrading to a different froyo build that works and then upgrading back to kangerade color theme or stock

The boot animation didn't change because it was not wiped, id use titanium backup to backup your apps and app data and try a fresh install

so how do u go back to stock droid like factory reset

There is a non rooted 2.0.1 stock Rom in the Rom manager that should do what u want it too

Oh well, back to where I was to start with. I guess it can't be something wrong with the ROM as others have it and aren't having any trouble - however, obviously there's something incompatible between these ROMs and my particular phone..what I have no idea.

So I restored nandroid backup of 2.1update 1 root and skpe worked then updated to kangerade froyo stock fresh install wiped data and cache...this time market found skype but it force closes on login what shall I do
