Anyone got a chance to test the battery life time with this new rom?? Any specific kernels using with it. Or is everyone busy flashing a new rom every hour like me...dancedroid

It started off great. I was at 90% for 1hr+ and during that time I had the screen on the whole time and continued to stay at 90% with stock kernel at 800MHz. I was impressed being the 4.0.7 battery life was horrible. But now it seems to be back to whatever. Hopefully someone figures out what the cause of this is being I've tried tons of different kernels and some run extremely great and smooth, but none offered an acceptable battery life.

is there a trick to get these to work? They have never been 100% reliable but they arent working at all anymore. I have pdanet for the usb tethering. and the wifi tethering app from the market

built in wifi tethering will not work in any froyo rom and when it's available (for non-rooted users atleast) I'm pretty sure you will have to sign up on some bs plan.

wifi tether from the market should work though.

thats what i have though. the "wireless tether" app from the market. does it matter what kernal i have? or what speed the kernal is running at?

Flashed Froyo with Nex-Tang Theme 5.0.9 over the same 4.0.7 theme. Everything seems to be smooth, except that the bluetooth is not working (Stays at "Turning On..."). Rebooted, but that was no help.

Any suggestions?

Try flashing the ROM again and see. I had a problem turning it on at first and turning data/3G on, but a reboot worked for me. So I don't know, try re-flashing it, it may help.

On bb v4 alot of people were asking for black bar instead of white with droix x theme. So I actually just took the blackbar from nextheme and put the droid x icons in there with the droid x video player it looks really good. I'm pretty sure droid x comes with a white bar but black looks so much better. Heres a link with screen shots....This will not work with this rom it is for bb v4 just figured I'd show everyone what a black bar would look like if jrummy does one. I def like the black much better then the white.

That seemed to do it - thanks! Though the bluetooth does seem a bit sluggish in comparison to 4.0.7. However, I think I can manage waiting a few extra seconds.
