Hey did anyone else notice when you make a call 3g disappers? Any help with this?

I believe it's a matter of vzw's network that data is unavailable while on a call.

It always has. Verizon does not allow the feature of call and data at the same time. However, Wifi still works during calls.

how do we stop the OTA froyo update from verizon? its getting freaking annoying. i do not want to update verizon!

It's been answered a bunch of times already in this trail but you should accept the update. It will fail. Then reboot. All good.

I have also noticed that when connected to WIFI, most the signal bars go away (as if the signal strength is going down) but when I turn off WIFI, bars are almost full.

To install an apk:

make a folder on root of sd card name it System

drop apk into folder

open up UD options and use Install2system

Is this correct?

This is bc wifi takes over as ur primary data source. Done that bon all roms for me. Weird but normal.

I tried and failed. I istalled the altered .zip and when I rebooted I got stuck on "M". Had to do a nandroid restore, first time I needed to do one tho and it was pretty painless.not sure what I did wrong. I left the meta folder alone and I deleted everything out of system except for the app folder which only had the launcher .apk in it. Was that correct?

yea that was correct... hmm which launcher u looking for? 2d or 3d? ill make a zip for you.

To tell you the truth I'm not 100% sure what it was called. The launcher apk I found was named 2D tho. I don't know if you used UD6 or not but instead of having the buttons in the corners to change between home screens it had space where you could put whatever you want there. Sorry I don't know all the technical terms.

Ok, 3d launcher. Been using ud for a long time, I actually help blackdroid with the roms. Doing tech support here the last few days is a favor to a dmin on df. But if ud gets a section again ill be on df a lot helping u all out hopefully df will let blackdroid back too.....

to be honest i never used that feature... i use adb instead. so can try both and report back so others users know for now on

I created the directory as "system" and it works great.
It is /sdcard/system
Just open up your SDcard via USB and create a directory called "system"

The easiest way I found to get ud 6 launcher is to do the /sdcard/system/ method of installing but first goto the modded launchers install the launcher 2d then goto quick commands and install2system and bam you got the ud 6 launcher
