UD7 is definitely worth the try... was running extremely good for me except for the higher running temps. And the couple issues I ran into might very well be from switching the kernels far too many times... so most likely I'll make that effort to reinstall this from scratch again, but this time installing cvpcs's kernel from the beginning...:)

That being said... Sapphire is by no means a slouch, nor is BB even though it's very Vanilla...they both have proven to me that they run smooth, stable, fast, & cool.... but UD seems to have the most potential for how I'd like my ROM to be running and customized...

So with UD you think cvpcs kernels would work better then chev?

I say alot of that depends on your phone. I have chevs and it seems to be the only one that works for me. I am running ud 6.0 by the way havent made the jump to 7.0.0 yet.

For me and my Droid, UD7 seems to need cvpcs kernels to run cool enough, and yeah, different Droids run differently with each different ROMs... look at my Sapphire install, it runs the best on any LV kernels... but then BB v0.4 on my Droid 'must' use MV kernel from Chev, and to top that off, it runs a lot cooler on that voltage that any of the LV or uLV kernels...go figure...

Hopefully you find what runs best on UD7 on your Droid without having to go thru almost every kernel out there before you find it... that's what happened to me with UD7 until I found cvpcs's

I guess i picked a bad night to try this rom. im having the market issue too. tryed clearing data no luck.
Oh and BTW... I can confirm that there seems to be some problem with the Android Market since I'm having poor connection to it on different ROMs, even on my nandroid of Sapphire.

hope someone can help me with this. i installed 7.0 the day it came out. i then installed the luna theme. a few days later UD updated gmail, and other issues. i downloaded the update and flashed with spr recovery using update.zip... how will i know if the update actually worked? when i go to gmail nothing looks different?? they said something about the gallery icon but that looks the same also.. thank you in advance

I installed the watermarkd theme and now my multitouch keyboard is gone. I installed the multitouch keyboard from xda and it was force closing. I reinstalled it and now when i select multitouch keyboard it still brings up the normal keyboard can anyone help?

has anybody figured out the dsp settings yet? I know what they mean etc...however I couldnt tell any difference audio wise?

If you gallery and pictures frame icon are correct then it worked. Updated gmail has a hovering reply things and I can select what text to copy. So if you open gmail and a piece of mail and can highlights to cut then paste, it updated for you.

Did you install the apk and lib file or just the apk only?

Been hearing that only the speaker setting works. Idk on it all the way. I will look into it today though.

Ultimate Droid website

Maybe somebody here can help me. I registered on UD website yesterday. I never got the confirmation e-mail. revalidated a couple of times. Still no e-mail. I can't even e-mail administrators on the site to let them know I didn't get the e-mail. Does it usually take days for you to get the confirmation e-mail?
