Android 2.1 Update Rolls Out For Motorola Droid!

Haha people are falling for so many things today.

Running 2.1 and it is great. Phone is smooth and fast. When running live wallpaper I notice a definite lag. Downloaded Earthrot and loved it but it freezes up so much that I can't run it. Gallery is awesome and battery life is greatly improved.
I did have to delete and then reinstall the Swype beta. For some reason it would not work but - it is now.
Overall my only disappointment with the upgrade is the lack of bluetooth voice dial. I still can't figure out why this was not part of the update. It is a necessary safety feature. I have used the Google feature but it still requires that I look at my phone when I am driving.
Having said that - I still love my Droid
. Now I'm gearing up for the next update:laugh:

Well if Swype does stop working im glad i got the apk in my sd card still lol. :icon_ banana:

No android phone does bt voice dial. Its not just the Droid.

This thread has certainly died down in the past 24 hours!
dont worry, in a month or so we'll havet he 2.2 update thread and the process will start over again.
that would be an interesting gallery for the droid if someone gets bored and makes an animation of a droid transformings and shoving it up the iphones usb that could be the greatest youtube video yet.
Droid p0rn sweeeeet. Ill donate to that.
Truly! I think everyone is playing with their phones.
