I wasn't going to mention it, but I just saw him on this thread, so I must. The Windows Mobile 6.5 I was running came from Adryalyne, back in his Windows mobile days.

Well if you do get tired of waiting Tim it's a VERY easy process. The hardest part is holding down the camera and the volume key : )

I was scared I did that wrong... the instructions I used said hold the camera key down HALF WAY... when I got the Droid Eye for a really long time I thought I was in the endless boot loop I've heard mentioned!:icon_eek:

I started thinking... "Did I press the camera key down too far":blink:

But I am really happy with the update and adding the Helix brought me back to the five screens I had with the 2.1 APK that I had deleted to get ready for this update.

Well, I'll be honest, if it goes beyond, say, next Tuesday, I will probably go ahead and do it manually.

Whatever the reason, if you don't want to push or install the update then don't do it. Its your phone. But it is the same update no matter how you receive it.

So is the threat of voiding warranty true or just an idle threat?? And can they actually tell if you got the update OTA or not??? Been waiting it out and am in no hurry. Just more of a curiosity thing that is tapping me on the shoulder. But I don't wanna do it at the expense of a voided warranty.

Does anyone know how they establish the sequence of recipients? Is it in the order of droid purchasers? Got mine mid-December. Still waiting. Hope there's some cake left.

Nothing is wrong this is supposed to happen just install the update.zip

I updated to 2.1 myself but I cannot figure out how to do speech to text. Please help.
