Delete update.zip after your done and you have no problems.

My only concern is not receiving the next update for my phone via OTA if i dont wait for this version to come in via OTA.

No there is NO 3d app tray.

As far as i have seen based on what people who updated said, If you are on a mobile site it will not use pinch to zoom. Try it on your gallery or a website that doesn't have a mobile version.

I just checked and the update's available on my phone. Although after looking at this post I don't think I'm going to install it (at least not permanently) since there's no mention of flash or live wallpapers.

Howdy folks. Quick question for the folks that may have gotten the update OTA last night. When did you buy your phone or when was it produced? Just wanted to see if they are doing it in order of those that bought the droid/when the droid was produced and try to get a quick estimation of when I possibly might get the OTA update for my phone (2-3 days maybe?). Thanks for your time and help in this matter.

I got the update this morning. Now my Swype isn't working. I tried the select input method to android keyboard and back to Swype and it still doesn't work. I guess I'll do a re-install. Any other ideas.

I re-installed Swype Beta after 2.1 update and now it works again.
