Oh, thats the root exploit that was used before thats since been patched. It has to do with the signing of installable zips. I thought it was elsewhere, but its pat of the recovery image.

But does it mean the update.zip is legit?

Its either the real deal or a clever cover up of the ESE53 we were supposed to get. I'm gonna side on it being real.

the live wall paper with the dots moving and making lines only shows up in red. maybe nexus 1 has the colors cause it is colorful and droid is badass red?

so to be clear,for anyone who wants to remain rooted in the future needs to hold of and stay at 2.0.1 untill a modified update.zip is made. if you update to 2.1 as far as we know you cant root unless you flash the 2.0.1 sbf file with rdslite or whatever that program is called,lol

I'm having the same problem and I tried naming the folder both Update and Update.zip

Ya the red one matches the Droid theme where as the colorful one matches the Nexus One theme.
