whats up with all these people saying they got "signature verification failed" when they got done installing it? Has anyone else got that?

I did everything from my droid. Downloaded the file, renamed it using ASTRO, moved it to the root, rebooted etc...

worked for me

The file that downloads is a folder correct? And in astro, how can i move it to the root?

A few minutes but I guess it takes a little longer since youre rebooting it for the first time after the installation

Whoohoo! I now have 2.1. You can manually install it using these instructions. Pinch-zoom in the stock browser/gallery. Live wallpapers. Only 3 home screens though. Anyone who wants more I suggest trying the Helix Launcher. Works great. Back to bed...

Finally and and my gChrome with open home stills works with all 7 screens! the gallery is freaking awesome. Bummer i still cant get rid of Corporate mail unless i root oh well some day LOL

Smart man. Anyone who knows anything about photography, knows that you need to invest in GLASS, not camera bodies.

Indeed, two of my most comfortable investments: glass and guns. Both hold their value remarkably well. :icon_ banana:


And one is good and protecting the droid. :icon_eek:

Well I've said this in other posts(from ese53), the best thing about 2.1 is the smoothness of the stock browser. Everything else I can live without. I am happy.
