Android is losing

Don't want to deter this conversation to much... but if you care about your security, I would strongly advise against this decision. Windows is just to easy to hack, and your mobile device contains (and is used to transmit) the most confidential information you have. It will be extremely easy to redesign the viruses and malware already in circulation to also exploit Microsofts mobile platform. Hackers have a nice head start. Additionally, I really don't see any advantage to those windows phones besides better in built exchange support. Very few apps, limited customization, and just plain-old vulnerable. I love Windows but I will NEVER trust Microsoft enough to run their insecure os as my mobile platform.

Well, it's nice to see you and I on the same page on something. Windows phone, there just isn't anyway I'd consider it, however I suppose someone who uses Windows regularly would. To me the whole platform is scary.

Yeah, lol... and I actually use Windows regularly... but I am not blind to the gaping security holes. Love the OS... but I will only run linux/unix on my phone.

Just seemed to come out of left field. Was wondering if it were in reference to an earlier post or something I said... it was after my post....lol.. I was just trying to understand how anything I said could be interpreted that way... whatever. Moving on.

Ahhh... I just checked. Yeah... that probably could be worded a little better... like.. "its almost discriminatory..." or "it causes such a hostile discussion..." I could see how someone could get offended by that, or take it the wrong way...

I simply made the jump to the IPhone becuz I got tired of waiting around for the Thunderbolt and its "many" release dates and wanted something new to play with. Im satisfied at the moment but if the Thunderbolt releases before my 14 day lock in period then ill make the switch back but until then im loving my IPhone. If it comes out afterwards ill just sell my Iphone and use that money to offset the retail price to buy the Thunderbolt.

No. It was worded exactly correct. It's as ugly as racism. It's prejudicial and offensive.

Nobody is getting lynched on this thread for liking apple. People are getting "ridiculed", "made fun of", "teased". You should really consider the implications of making a bold statement like that.
