Any drone owners here?

I don't mind it really, but there are quite a few programs that still aren't compatible with it. That and there is so much unnecessary crap running in the background. Windows 7 never gave me any problems and my battery lasted a lot longer.

I had to stop working on the main video due to the power outage. It's supposed to be at least another 2-3 hours before it's repaired.

Apparently a bank capacitor (whatever that is) went out at the main substation. Update: Thousands without power in eastern Idaho and western Wyoming

Looks like it flies pretty smoothly. Also, looks like you're flying in headless mode? I have the Syma X5C with the camera, supposedly its more stable than the X5. The range isn't that good so I just stay inside my yard, dodging the oak trees & harassing my 2 dogs

Yeah, I had it in headless mode since the winds were 15-20. I think my X5SW was faster overall, but if I take the prop guards off and leave the camera off it goes plenty fast. I like that this one has altitude hold, great feature.

Now 3/4ths of the city is without power....going on 30 min now. Ugh! Fortunately it's still cool in the house, but it's 91 out today, so that's not going to last long.
First world problems.....I think not! LOL!

That's the messed up part, this one cost three times what my X5 cost but it doesn't have FPV, so you have to pull the SD card. I honestly don't know why they put FPV on the X5 since the camera was so crappy. At least this one has a decent camera and altitude hold, so there are some trade offs. The controller was another thing I wasn't a fan of. It looks like they stole it from a 5 y/o's toy box! (But it works really well....I just need to spray paint it black!)
