I think it is too good to be true. And too expensive. How about this for interesting...
Is the Kairos smartwatch too good to be true The Verge
Now THAT's how they can get the sensors UNDER the display and STILL have a FULL ROUND FACE! Oh boy, I hope MOTO sees this.
I hear that. It can be brutal.I hate waiting for shipping.... Just saying
I'm thinking those might be my next small purchase. Would like to have at least a couple options, especially since mine is showing a little wear, even if it's not enough to worry about yet.I am already looking at new straps lol
I'm definitely looking at a different strap, probably leather as this strap can get uncomfortable after awhile. It just not a 'must do' so have it on the back burner. I still need to buy that spring bar tool off of Amazon.I'm thinking those might be my next small purchase. Think I'll grab that tool as well.I'm definitely looking at a different strap, probably leather as this strap can get uncomfortable after awhile. It just not a 'must do' so have it on the back burner. I still need to buy that spring bar tool off of Amazon.
It's low power BT, so it might have a shorter range. Also depends on the construction of your house, as I'm sure you're aware if being in IT and dealing with wifi signal strength.Yea, my band was Less then $12 on Amazon. I really like it.
Watch shop across the street from my office changed the band and removed a link for $9. Couldn't believe there was actually a watch repair shop across the street. Funny how I never noticed it before.
My wife, the fashoinista, likes the band too. After seeing it she was like "well, that makes the band it came with look cheap...". lol
My favorite thing is still the fact that I don't have to carry my phone around my house all night. As an IT Manager, I am expected to reply to emails anytime. Just leave it in the kitchen and it reaches nearly every corner of my house. And it's not a small house.
I really love when I get a phone call and I can just glance down... ohh I have to take that! Or, bah.. I can let that go to voice mail.
My bosses are impressed because most of the time I miss their calls and have to call them right back. Since I got the watch, they get me every time on the first try, lol
Downside, most of my friends and family know about it now. I've never been that quick reply texter (on purpose), but now that everyone knows I have this, they EXPECT quick replies. lol
Left it at home today. I already feel naked w\o it.
\EDIT\ One thing I don't get: if you look at the Android Wear website at the FAQ it asks "how far can my watch be from my phone" and Googles answer is "A few feet"... a few feet??? Isn't BT like 90 feet??? Uh..yea...it is. Bad answer Goog.
