Not necessarily an LG issue, but thought y'all could, perhaps, relate.
The husband got his new-to-him LG watch yesterday.
I helped him set it up because he hates electronics and just wants the thing to be ready to wear.
We got him all moved in and he was a happy camper before bed.
He left the watch charging on his desk in our office (came with about 40% power) and headed up to bed. His phone started chiming with an alarm and the face was flashing between red and blue. When he would touch the screen, it would silence and go back to his home screen -- with no information as to what it was, but 10 minutes later it would do it again.
He checked his alarm clock settings and nothing was out of sorts. Phone chimes & flashes again. I stopped what I was doing and looked through his settings on the phone and couldn't find anything running or on "snooze" that he could turn off. Phone chimes & flashes again.
By now, I'm in bed and asked him to turn the phone off until morning and try to figure it out with a fresh mind. Phone chimes & flashes again. No, he said that wouldn't be "responsible" (whatever
) and gets dressed to go back down to his computer to see if he can google an answer. Mind you, I have been googling my little fingers off trying to figure out what it is... Phone chimes & flashes again as I hear him heading back to the office. I went down to the office a few minutes later - feeling guilty that I wasn't fighting the battle with him and he looks at me and tells me that it's his "find my phone" app.
Who knew? I had him download the "find my phone" app, but mine only buzzes my wrist - my phone hasn't reacted to me walking away from the watch.
Today's his first "real" day with it. Hoping all stories I hear about it tonight are positive.
Does anyone else's phone do this?
