Anyone have an LG G watch?

If whatever texting app you are using on your phone supports Reply from the watch....when you get a new text tap the Reply Via SMS option then scroll down just a little and select Draw Emoji. Draw any standard Emoji (smiley face, thumbs up hand, etc) and the watch will show options it thinks you drew and then tap the one you want to send.

Doesn't have to be all that "standard". It'll guess just about anything you draw & give options that it could be.

I think the reason I don't see the draw feature is because I didn't know it existed, then "Blocked" it from my watch so I was using Coffee solely. How do I "Unblock" an app on my watch? Once I get access to it on my watch again I'll let you know.. Oh! Yes, I am on the current version, thanks!
Easiest way to unblock an app is through the app on your phone. Get into the watch settings in that app & the app blocking is in there.

No problem. It's much easier to manage some things there.

It most certainly is! I unblocked the text app, but it's not showing on my phone yet. Do I need to wait for someone to send me a text for it to push back through or do I need to go put the watch on the charging station?

What's not showing up on your phone?

What app did you unblock?

That stock Motorola texting app, but I got it. Just sent myself a text :D However, I had forgotten (already -- should I mention here that I am blonde :p) that I can't reply from it. Off to download Textra to take for a test drive.

One other thing that might be fun for you...once your husband gets his watch try out the "Together" watch face that is built into Android Wear, it's one of the default faces from the phone app. We (myself, Jonny, Pere and Mustang) had a lot of fun playing with it and learning all of the features when it first came out. There is a long thread around here somewhere with all of our silliness and fun posts about Together. I could really see it being useful for a couple, something fun to at least try for a while. :)

Edit: Found it! Here is the thread dedicated to the Together watch face; that was a lot of fun.

Ha! I read that thread today at work! Yeah, it looks kinda cool. Right now he's a bit overwhelmed with the thought of having to learn another gadget (he doesn't like to learn the techy stuff, where I'm not good at tech stuff, but I'm curious enough to be dangerous), so I think I'll wait a week or so to present him with that app.
The two threads I got the biggest kick out of today were the "Together" thread and the "Martian" thread. The latter made me laugh out loud at work!:D I have been following the watch threads for a little over a year, but went back over these past few days and started re-reading everything. I'm trying not to hound you guys with a lot of needless issues, but here I am :) still lost in the weeds with some of this...

That's what we're here for. Get you in trouble for laughing out loud at work at just the wrong time and answer the plethora of questions you have. You're a breath of fresh air to many of us with your queries.
Oh and don't do what Jonny does. It looks like you're smelling your arm pits because you can't remember if you put on deodorant. Practice a bit in an automobile, at home, etc. In no time you'll realize it looks much less dumb than those talking on their speakerphone and doing the cell yell ,because there's a bunch of noise, while looking around to see if anyone is snooping in on the obnoxious conversation that we hear both ends of.

I did tell my husband about the Coffee app, Find My Phone app, and to start "shopping" for faces. He downloaded The AW app this morning. He's excited, but a little hinky about trying something new. Poor guy, he just moved into his new phone a few months ago and now this  It's kinda like a comedy act over on this side of the screen. I'll get the hang of this and help him along. He'll be fine and I KNOW he's going to absolutely LOVE it!

Not that I'm wearing my watch right now, but tell me how this move looks like I'm smelling my pits? Haha!
