Just got off the phone with an Asurion representative. My replacement Motorola Droid will arrive on Monday. She told me that they just got a new shipment.

Well, how long on "back order" are they, what is the problem?They said they will send me an incredible, and that I can use the desire they sent till it comes in, but i wont do that as I dont want to be blamed for hurting it, so I us my old lg.

I filled my claim on 16th (Friday) and will be getting the Incredible tomorrow (Wednesday). Was told it's on backorder too.

All in all I like Asurion. I paid $90 to replace my scratched, almost 1-year old Droid with brand new Incredible and I get out of contract in two months!

Please share as to how you are getting out of contract in less than a year ?

They aren't on back order, they just aren't making them anymore. However, when I called they told me that I would get a new Droid because they just got a new shipment.

Same thing happened to me about 3 years ago. My LCD went out on my Motorola 9Qc and so Asurian sent a 9Qm which is an older and slower model. I argued with them about that but they insisted it was the only replacement phone in stock as they had disontinued the 9Qc (try to figure that one out). Pissed me off but I didn't notice much a difference to justify throwing a fit over it. Obviously this would be a a much different issue if I had the replace my Droid now through Asurion.

just got my email stating that my incredible is now available so hopefully ill be getting mine tomorrow. hopefully this phone isn't as crappy as the droid i got as a replacement the first time...im hoping they send me a new phone.
