Justfound the best battery saver.

Best buy online, Lemar powerport wave 6600. Two USB Ports, one at 1 amp for smartphones, other at max 2 amp's, can do tablets or a bit faster on smartphones. On the razr you can fully charge a dead phone 3 complete times! $55, perfect for me during warmer months on my weekly kayak trips that can last multiple days. If you guys can go without using 4G (yes i realize its a 4g phone) you can get crazy battery life out of the RAZR. 3G was on the entire time.

I'm done i'm taking this phone back tomorrow. Coming from a TB with an extended battery and use to getting at least 10 hours if constant use. I can run thus battery down in 2 hours. I'm a power user and I hate being wired into an outlet constantly. I've tried using the smart actions with everything of f until screen comes on with no avail. I love everything else about the phone but I'll go back to my TB until the next one. My daughter is going to hate giving my TB back.

Yeah you can if all data and the screen its off. I've gotten up to 16 hours over night and into the morning. Basically not using what you pay for.

All the data? No, 3G was on check the picture. You do realize that any phone when using 4G LTE is going to drain quickly right? The 3G speeds on this phone are so much better than those on my Droid Eris that i don't always feel the need to use the 4G. Surprisingly, Netflix streams just fine in 3G. The Eris's battery would drain in 8 hours even if i wasn't doing anything with it so lasting 26 hours (29% now) with moderate use is amazing to me.

I'm not a heavy user on my phone, it sure can't last a day in standby mode. for today, the most i used it for is the snooze button.

I'm quite happy with the battery life. With no smart actions set, I was able to get it to last several hours longer than my D1. With smart actions set, I'm at over 60% when the D1 would have been about dead.

That was with 2 hours of listening to audiobooks through bluetooth, 45 minutes of using the GPS as a run tracker while listening to pandora through 4g, an hour of websurfing through 4g, and all day being right on a fringe zone - nearly 16 hours of life without smart actions and apparently twice that with smart actions set. My D1 used to get less than 9 at the same usage.

I'm just a heavy phone user. I can rake up 25gigs in 1 month. My Thunderbolt got me through 10 hours of heavy use but it did have an extended battery with a custom ROM. I have until tomorrow to take mine back. I usually stay on 4g but i do have the RAZR set up that it will shut off data when screen is off.

I set up the Smart Actions according to the above post and today for the first time I used the phone completely without charging (I have not "conditioned" the battery also as described above) As of now the charge just dropped to 20% after 14 Hrs 20 Min of being on with my normal moderate use.
I have BT on all day, used the phone (Voice Calls 36%) used WiFi (16%) Display was only 11%.

Oh... I do have 4G switched off since it is not in my area yet.

Totally acceptable for me... I am very happy with this phone.

If the phone cant last a day in standby mode with no use, very light use...somethings wrong with the phone or battery. Or you are in a bad reception area. Mine can last at least 2 days with no use, very light use at home. I live and work in a bad reception area and have Wifi at home so thats all I use at home, its a waste to use 3G and 4G at home. At work, its Airplane Mode most of the day. I have to put my phone in a lil locker and my Droid X1 would be dead in 8 hours or sometime before 8 hours. I can only imagine the battery drain on an LTE phone in that situation.

Lunch time, I break it out and use it tho, 3G and 4G.

And I agree about letting the battery drain all the way. On the Droid 1...the 2800 mAh battery couldnt be read correctly by the phone. When it said 5%, certain things wouldnt work anymore and it would say 5% for a few extra hours. I think a complete drain at least once helps phones read the battery better. The Droid 1 never could read it right tho. I reboot was needed to see the actual battery level.

With the phone idling with 3g and background running I could surely get 2 days as well..Haven't tried and I'm using this phone more and more so I don't expect miracles lol Can't wait to swap for a new one as apparently the greenish tint isn't normal or speaker rattling

My Andriod OS is currently on 64% battery use which I have no idea how that can be if it's just idle. So I added the words with friends to the auto-end list. I'm only have Wifi on, everything else is off... Strange.

Check applications data! You'll find the culprit. I get a full day of moderate use...2 days via idle and mild use easily..
