Bionic crawls out of the grave!!!

Whoops, probably should have checked there, but I was just too darn excited! dancedroiddancedroiddancedroid

The Targa was originally suppose to be a Vanilla Google phone... That and a chance of a Unlocked boot loader. This will be the phone to beat.. i would not mind having it for 2 years!!!

I wouldn't either, but man I am having a tough time making a decision right now. I am eligible for an upgrade in 9 days and I can't decide if I am going get the Thunderbolt now and get the unlimited 4g for the next 2 years or wait until this comes out and get a teired plan. I am rockin' an OG right now and am starting to get frustrated with the slowness of it. I really wish we had a release date!!! :icon_evil:

I am open to suggestions, but full disclosure, I have messed with the TB a lot an man that phone is fast!

Wait ktech11,if i can tuff it out with a tou9630-then i know u can give me 3 more mths and have the phone of ur dreams.Just as soon as vzw gets a phone that i like 4.3-qhd or better-2.3 or better-then im all over it like white on rice!!!!!They know the got 2 come STRONG!!!!!!

The only thing is I really, really want the unlimited 4g, and I will be terribly ticked off if the phone turns out to be a disappointment.

I just talked to my "inside source" at motorola(customer svc rep on moto.com) and they said the bionic was removed from the site because it hasn't been released yet(although it has been on the site for months even though it wasn't released) she said it was just temporary and that it would be back on the site closer to its released. That's all the info she would give though. I have a feeling if/when its back up on the site it will be a little uglier :( frown :(

don't do it man don't punk out and get the thunderbolt. because if u do as soon the DB/Targa comes out ur gonna wish u waited. just wait for the DB or the S2 to come out that way your more satisfied with the phone you got rather then only enjoying your phone for a few months before it feels outdated

lol targa will be out in a few months. then a few months later quad will be out(rumored) and then the targa will feel outdated. so really you cant ever win.

im personally getting annoyed with moto problems and loosing faith in them. TB is mega fast and with an extended battery(altho many people say its not even needed) its prolly gonna be kicking butt for awhile.

im sorry couldnt resist

I had inside info from my brothers freinds dogs sisters owner that the bioinc was canceleed because its hardware sucked and crashed and motoblur was even worse than on the atrix. but than the brother of the dogs owner said thats all here say and that his uncles cousin said that a tmobile rep said an att rep sabotaged the bionic so poeople would not know that a similar hardware device would let you install unknown source apps. :)

Warning! Don't read this at a stop light. You will get horns honked at you because you are laughing so hard you don't realize the light turned green! LOL

I don't think the difference between dual core and quad core will be drastic except for gaming not saying those quad core phones moto is working on aren't going to be nice but I think the difference between the DB/Targa and the thunderbolt is going way bigger than the difference between the DB/Targa and the Motorola bullet

You do know the date on that article is January 5th... Just an fyi

Yes, but why does the article reference "feedback" they received at the CES that took place after that date? Droid-Life posted that fact showing it an obvious error on Moto not updating the initial date in the article.

I think it is a type o. Why would they say New Droid Bionic? And remember The Mediacenter fact page had the Specs and now this page is that page is showing.

Motorola's DROID BIONIC LTE smartphone, first announced at this year's International Consumer Electronics Show, will launch this summer with Verizon Wireless. Based on compelling feedback since the show, we are incorporating several enhancements to make this an even better consumer experience. This includes expanded features, functionality and an improved form factor. Motorola Mobility and Verizon Wireless are very excited about bringing the 'new' DROID BIONIC to market.
