well a vzw rep two days ago also told me it had been canceled. its been confirmed in many places that they dont know release dates.

It will be released in the 3rd Q. The Latest is September. Verizon wants a dual core LTE phone out there. If it is not released by then then it will be a big fail. It will hurt Verizon and Motorola. They will get something out there in the 3rd Q. If it is not the Bionic/Targa. It will be the GS2 if they get it. I to have a Storm1. This Summer is the Longest I can go with this phone. If it is not released this Summer then I will purchase a DX from Ebay until Dual Core phone on Verizon is Released..

I just purchased one on Sunday. I think you should just buy it now instead of waiting the whole summer. this way you won't jump ship to a phone that you really don't want but almost have to get because its that much better than your storm. getting a DX now made me a whole lot more patient about the bionic coming out.

I got a DX a few weeks ago off eBay and got a great deal IMO. Just wait until there are some good choices from a company that doesn't lock down their bootloaders Finding good DX (locked bootloader) roms are kind of a PIA. Looking forward to a lot more LTE dual-core (or even quad-core) options over the next 6-12 months.

Did the same thing. Now I'm cool to wait 'til fall to see what kind of LTE dual-core (maybe unlocked) goodness awaits! Farewell, Storm 1....
