Bionic or Galaxy S2

I can't wait much longer.. I LOVE my OG droid since 11/09 but it's about time to get a new phone... I REALLY really hope the S2 is coming soon. I was all hyped for the TB, then the Bionic, but now, I have to wait for this phone....

If using a pentile matrix screen means I get an extra few hours battery life, then it's more than worth it for me. Slightly lower resolution in exchange for higher battery life and an allegedly "sharper" screen? I will definitely have to test it out personally, but it seems to be a decent trade off.

I don't know if that roadmap is the real deal. I just saw a fake 'leak' that someone posted for April Fools day. Why would Samsung release two 4g phones a month apart on the same network? For all we know, the S2 could really be the Charge. We just saw how Samsung could radically change something in very little time (galaxy tabs at MWC then at CTIA). Who knows, but if it does come to VZ, I probably would pick it over the Bionic, it just looks cooler.

If the phone lasts until I go to bed and plug it in that's plenty for me..and text is nowhere near sharp with that type of screen..

Both phone look awesome.

Is the S2 physically bigger than the Bionic? In the pix I've seen, the Bionic looks to have very little margin outside of the screen width/height. The S2 looked like it had more margin top/bottom. Phones with 4.3" screens don't need a lot of extra added to them!

Now I have to go look at the physical specs!

Man, I wasn't even close! According to PhoneArena specs, the S2 form factor is smaller!

Bionic: 4.96 x 2.63 x 0.52
S2: 4.93 x 2.60 x 0.33

The S2 looks fantastic in general. I think the only way it's inferior to the bionic is battery size and the screen. And even then, the screen is more of a preference thing.

Actually, most of the write ups are indicating the screen is superior due to the difference in technology. It is getting similar to the iPhone Retina Display in how it works, I believe.

Has anyone heard any thing other then that leak list that S2 is coming to Verizon. If not until I hear otherwise I will be getting the Bionic....I still think that it will be a Great phone...

Nothing confirmed yet. Don't get me wrong, the Bionic is going to be a great phone as well. Just hope to see both hit. Hopefully we'll get more solid confirmation on it soon.

If Both hit I am kind of swaying toward the S2. That is if the s2 and the Bionic are released before the end of the 2nd Q...
